The 386DX on the end of a 14.4k modem that's clearly what it's being run on, is in desperate need of an upgrade.
It shouldn't take 5 minutes to load the website and 35 minutes to update 4 camera apps. This isn't a one-off, this website is always horrendously bad; What on eath's going on?
Sony give me hobson's choice of:
Battling with cursor keys on the camera itself to enter passwords and natigate webpages sloww pages in a massively unintuitive and highly frustrating manner.
OR
Browsing in treacle using a PC with my camera connected, and of course, because you are still using ancient NPAPI insecure plugins, updating doesn't work in Chrome and many other modern browsers, so you spend another 30 minutes trying to find a browser that's not been updated to "pepper plugins".
Sony REALLY REALLY badly need to learn the concept of "dog fooding". As it's perfectly clear that nobody at Sony uses Sony products themselves, as they wouldn't put up with this crap.
