XH90 ITV hub (and others) app not showing everything

How come the ITV app, and other catch-up apps in the Sony select app area don’t show all programmes compared to the app built in to iPhone/tablets etc?

Why are the catch-up apps within the “Sony select” app anyway? Are they updated?

I can’t find the dedicated ITV app for example on the App Store on the TV so have to use the Sony select one, and it’s not showing all programmes.

The ITV app and other catchup apps are part of the YouView feature of the TV (might be called "Live TV & Catchup" in the newest software versions).

Can you give us more info about the "not showing all programs" part, what's missing exactly?

I have the latest update as of today on the TV.

I don’t have an tv aerial connected to the TV, i I just use the internet for the services on the TV as I have BT TV connected.

I can’t remember the specific TV program, it was wife who was watching but it wasn’t on the catch-up via Somy select I have to go on the BT TV and they have catch-up and was on there

The only program/channel I remember seeing an issue with was something on ITV, and using an aerial was the fix for it, so maybe give that a shot?
