what is the best way to record from my kd43xh8505

It says in the manual that in the UK you cannot record onto a HDD via the usb socket from the youview programme guide. Can you record to a PVR machine via the cdmi socket. All I want to do is to set up to record programmes from the programme guide.

Hi,

Since the HDMI connectors does not output a signal you cannot record anything from there.

However, even if they would output something I doubt that you can record anything from YV due to copy protection.
