topic Suitable Replacement in Android TV

Hi, need some advice if possible

My 55A80J screen failed after 13 months and still in warranty. After 6 months of fighting I finally got offered a replacement today. In summary I was offered a 55X90L, which to me is not a suitable replacement under warranty.

The reason give was that I brought my A80J on sale so was not entitled to a better offer. Not saying the X90L is a bad tv but it’s not OLED

Any thought?

Ben

B.

@BenP-UK

Unless the TV was described at the time as on sale for a particular reason, e.g. case damage, then the warranty should relate to a like-for-like replacement.

There can be some discussion of like-for-like when a new or refurbished TV of the same model is not available, but I think it fair to say that under no circumstances could proposing to replace an OLED TV with a non-OLED model be called like-for-like.
