Xperia Arc not waking up after charging

Since applying the new Ice Cream Sandwich update to my Xperia Arc my phone goes to sleep and does not wake up!?

I plug in the USB charger in the evening to charge my phone over night and in the morning when I unplug the charger and press the "home" button to enter my pin unlock code nothing happens.The green LED next to the USB charging port on the phone is lit up green, but pressing the home button results in nothing happening and just a black screen. I have to remove the battery, replace it and then turn it on with the power button, which brings it back up.

This is becoming quite annoying - it also happens when I have put it on charge for a few hours.

Xperia Arc LT15a

Network: Telstra (Australia)

Android: 4.04

Build #:4.1.B.0.587

...any help with this would be greatly appreciated

I suggest that you check if the same problem remains after reinstalling the phone software using SUS.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will try that SUS and see if it fixes the issue
