You will not lose any Sony software when you make a factory reset. A factory reset will delete all your personal data from the phone. If you have made an update on your phone a factory reset will not downgrade the phone.

Hi, I'm using Xperia J and i want to do a factory reset, But I'm concerned for the Timescape UI.

If I do a reset will the timscape still be on my phone, or will the phone be with the default android interface?

Basically I need the state of the software to be as I bought it, nothing more nothing less, will a factory reset work?

Thaks for the respionce.

I wanted to do a factory reset because the phone started to behave a bit slow the last month, even when playing music there ware this short brakes/pauses in the middle of a playing song, i wanted to do a factory reset in order to make it respond faster like before, but before i was going to reset it I went trough my apps clear the cache from all of them and deleted a bunch of them that i didn't actually use (more than 15)...

And than the phone started to get back to normal, and after clearing some music, videos and wallpapers and a shut down It was all fine like before. I don't know why but I think that having so much folders and files was the issue, and that most of my apps ware on the SD card.

If anyone else has a similar issue I suggest to first try a bit of cleaning up on your device
