Very frustrated. Phone has stopped communicating with mobile network. It is not the sim. I have tried that in another phone and network signal was perfect. I have put a known working sim in my Xperia and could not connect to the network (all are 3 network) WiFi and Bluetooth work fine. I have reset factory settings. Still nothing. In settings, I can see 3 network, but cannot connect. However, in sim status the network is "unknown" and signal strength is 0. Mobile network type is also "unknown" and service status is "out of service". Please help!

Hi @MattC5, sorry to hear about this.

You can try and perform a software repair using Xperia Companion as this will reinstall the latest available software in the device, and not just remove user data, like a factory reset does.

As always when resetting the device, make sure that you backup the data using the same program.

If that doesn't help, you will need to get in touch with your Local support team so they can arrange a repair for you, as there is something with the hardware in the device that is defect.

Let us know how it goes!
