Gaming mode doesn't activate itself

Hello, I have some trouble trying to make the Gaming mode in Xperia Actions work for me.
It doesn't seem to activate itself when I launch any of the games I have selected to work with it. Other Actions such as Good night and Focus work seamlessly.
Is there some issue with the application or could it be that it just doesn't work for the particular games?
I'm using Xperia X Compact running on Android 8.0.

UPDATE:
Already solved this, all I had to do was to restart the phone.
