Has anyone had any issues with their Sony Xperia X Compact rebooting randomly for no apparent reason?

Maybe it's time to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. This will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory. Don't forget to backup using Xperia Companion, but preferably without adding apps or settings to the backup.

Follow the steps given in blue links, and keep us updated.

Hello,

I do have a random rebooting as well. Even after a complete restore of the phone before xmas.

And sometimes i have memory problem when open camera. many probs. might be that???

Try the software repair as indicated by @Quester again and keep your machine clean.

Just install what you need and that's often less than you think.

By restoring old stuff you restore the problem as well, without knowing what app caused the mishap.

Keep us informed how you're doing after a clean install.

1.Then, what is the purpose of a smartphone if not using for my personal stuff with google (and sony) approved apps?

2.after 2 years machine clean it's a bit challenging. To do that i moved all the stuff on the sd card...but apps does not help, and even whatsapp doesn't help. Then smartphone has got problem with the memory when i open the camera app, sometimes overheat and when i use the smartphone normally it reboot on its own.

3. xperia companion does not help. it says the smartphone is good.

I precise, with restore i mean in a "brutal way" -format phone to the fabric configuration-
