Constantly prompts for System update in Xperia X Compact

Have just purchased two compact x phones for my parents. Have set them up and they are constantly prompting for an 'Xperia system update - ready to install'. I have done this and it still keeps prompting. Please can someone advise me what to do to stop this from happening. Thanks

The phone had numerous updates since its launch and that's why you're getting them one by one. Either be patient and install them all until you reach the recent version, or alternatively, perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. This will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory.
