WiFi won't turn on

My WiFi just won't turn on. The icon has a cross through it and I have tried everything to switch it on but it just won't. Everyone I open up WiFi setting and press the slider, it moves to the on position and then immediately back to the off position.

First thing you can try is reset WiFi settings.

Goto settings -> system-> reset options -> reset network settings

Hi @Master_L, sorry to hear about this.

Have you had the time to try what @Strampke recommended? If you have, how did it go?

Should you still not be able to turn Wi-Fi on, so it stays on, could you try restarting your device in safe mode and see if it's the same? In safe mode downloaded applications aren't loaded and we can easily see if one of them is the cause of this.

I have tried what @strampke has suggested but it didn't work. I also booted in safe mode but still the problem persists. Help please.

Hi again and sorry to hear that there was no change.

The next step is as @Strampke mentioned, to perform a software repair. Keep in mind that this process will delete all data stored on the internal storage, but there is a backup option available in the same program that you can use!

Should you still not be able to turn Wi-Fi on, get in touch with your Local support team and they will arrange a repair for you.
