Sony xperia x sound is not working and all sound functions has stopped

Hi guys,

All sound functions mic speaker, music, calls are disabled on my xperia x. Camera functions are also not working. It gives error cannot record, recording application is used by another application. Please help. Did factory reset, formatting software repair using Sony companion but nothing helped

When factory reset and Xperia Companion does not resolve your problem, then options are running out.

What happens in safe mode?

What is the result of tests run in Xperia support app?

Did you restore the full backup after reset or did you start witha clean device (to avoid app related problems)

What happens in safe mode? Same issue in safe mode. No change

What is the result of tests run in Xperia support app? Test gets hung when run for microphone and crashes

Did you restore the full backup after reset or did you start witha clean device (to avoid app related problems) - yes, I tried but no luck

I guess that is time to open the support app again and take up contact with Sony support to have your device repaired.

Same here. No sound, the mic not working saying being used by another app. Having to send off for repair. Proper pain
