This will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory. Follow the steps given in the blue link, do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Don't forget to save your important data through &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/backup+using+Xperia+Companion/pd-p/Xperia_Companion_Backup_Restore" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="192-1"&gt;backup using Xperia Companion&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;(don't backup apps and settings).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Hot had the phone two weeks yet and on two separate occasions it has had issues. Within 48 hours it needed a soft restart to switch on and this morning it has completed a hard reset to factory settings. Is this common?</description>
