Today at 3:00 PM I put my phone on charge charger is comoany provided handset is Xperia X but even at 10:00PM its same need it to be done correct help me out

There are several of us complaining about the same issue. All after the recent update: /t5/Xperia-X/Sony-xperia-x-turns-on-on-its-own/m-p/1271211

So far Sony has been silent.

Just sent phone back and came two days ago saying that was a problem with the software and that it was fixed. Nope, still turning on, and now gps doesnt work properly, wifi doesnt fancy to work when it wants....

Getting pretty upset and disappointed, ive been converted to sony for a few years and never had problems and now this.

I have an Xperia X

My phone won't charge above 50%

I also get the messages that my

Com.sonymobile.rcahandler has stopped working every time the phone restarts.

Tried all the tips;

Restart

Long restart

Turning on ultra stamina mode

Checked updates and did a repair with the computer.

Nothing worked so far..

Anyone have any other suggestions?

One suggestion could be software repair using Xperia Companion.

There definitely are some with problems and some don't have these problems.

If you dare, try software repair.

See what happens.

I guess that the developers of Sony might be curious about what is going on on your devices.

Maybe they should invite you to send send a bug report.

I have the same problem, my xperia x charge then suddenly stops and then repeatedly trying to charge but wont go up to 64% i cant fully charge my device now... I thought the charger is the issue but tried lther charger but wont work... And my first charger was ok. I thought also that my charger port is broken but when i tried to charge it suddenly charge perfectly until it reached 64% and the same problem pop up again. Saying im connected to charger and tgen suddenly dont and so on.

Hi @ram21

I advise you to check

- connect your charger with another phone and see if it is charging

- connect a different charger (that you know is working fine on another device) with your phone.

With that check you can test if it is the charger or maybe your phone's USB port.
