Sony Xperia Pro-i Missing icons

Hi I have a Xperia Pro-i that I uploaded my contacts apps and stuff from my Xperia 1 via google "set up new phone".

Everything has been working great until today I actually went to make a phone call.
I have no call icon, I used google assist in the end.
I also have no galley icon to view my photos and no email icon.

It's probably something odd I've done but any help in getting these really helpful icons back would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @Rhombeus,

have you checked whether you created a new "page" on your home screen (which then would be blank besides one single app by default)?

Try swiping left/right when you are not inside any app.

No blank pages.

Normally the album icon in bottom right on the unlock screen. I'm forced to use Google photos at the moment which ihate. To edit photos It makes you subscribe to a Google one chargeable account.

Hi @ Rhombeus,

As far as I know all the new Xperia phones don't have Email app neither Gallery app (their own Xperia ones I mean), but the phone app has to be there for sure.

Try to go to settings> apps and notifications> see all apps> 3 dots on top right corner> reset app preferences, and then try to look for it again.

For the gallery and email apps, it's either you use the preinstalled Google apps on the device or you download 3rd party apps from Google Play Store.
