I want to connect my Pc to my new sony receiver with analog audio in. But cannot get any sound.

Any tips, is it possible to choose all Hdmi connections to this purpose ?

Hi there

You need to ensure that the Sound Settings in control panel of your are outputting audio using the right connection. In regards to HDMI, if you have a HDMI output connection on the PC, it would be better do use that instead.

Thank you for the answer, but I really want to connect my Pc to the receiver with this Asus soundcard - Xonar Essence STX.

The sound is Superb, any tips on How to do this ?
