    <description>&lt;P&gt;Some of these systems have a timer system to switch off if not being used for whatever length of time it's set to. I was able to bypass this setting on my beloved&amp;nbsp;cmt-fx250. I can simply press and hold the power button on my unit until the power save setting changes to 'OFF' on the screen.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I must admit, if my player started doing this, I'd be upset too!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have a pop at the press and hold suggetion, and here's hoping it works, &lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.ch/html/@3191CA7235A406D833094BA2DD1CF2FF/images/smilies/011.png" alt=":slight_smile:" title=":slight_smile:" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Power Issue</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I bought a Sony Hi-Fi a while back .. Model- .. MHC-GTZ31 and when I switch it on it then stays on for a matter of 5-10 seconds then switches itself off. I have tried a different fuse in the plug but it still continues to switch itself off. Can anyone help as I love this system and cant really afford a new one? lol &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
