CMT CP11 - Tape belt replacement

I need help

I would like to replace the capstan's belt of the CMT CP11. I checked the service manual found in internet witout results. must be removed the motor but i am afraid to it firstly because i have no idea how to do it!

one support of the a.m. moter doesn't allow to proceed to the substitution.

Hi Sean

Well i wrote to Sony support twice. And they answered me both times that they don't support nor reccomand self service! the repair centre will ask me much money compared to the value of the apparatus and a big loosing of time. I am naval architect and mechanical engineer, i have the tools...and i i know my limits! I cannot verify the head azimuth [i haven't the instruments...but i would like to learn!], but to change a flat belt...

It was possible to change only the small one
But it is perfect
