topic RX10M5 (RX10V) missing the HFR function in Cyber-shot compact cameras

Hi community,

i am an proud owner of the RX10M4 camera which travelled with me 2 times around the whole world (literally...).

I was eagerly waiting for the RX10M5 to see the improvement in the HFR function as the (now) old RX10M4 has relatively big limitations in resulting quality due to the compression of the buffered images. What a dissappointment when i figured out, that the HRF was completely removed!

There are for sure discussions on the net about it (i was part of one discussion under the review from Gordon Laing (I am not allowed to place a link here, so try for yourself., especially the post from @Korpino-o7z)). There was some resonace to my request to return the HFR function

We even did a poll:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1LV4yxEUDxJJr59n682R42xXAprGexEwDjoZ1rvfoUo8

But it seems to have no big traction, so i am turning to the whole community if i am alone among those few who would like to have the function back (and improved).

Pls. let us know (here or on the poll) how much the HFR is needed.

Best regards,

Martin.
