Hello Community/Support,
the latest update I received on my fairly new Xperia 5 V broke a lot of things and I therefore urge you to bring a hotfix out asap. Was this update not tested beforehand?
The system UI suddenly crashes repeatedly, the volume rocker freezes or reacts with a delay of 5-10 seconds, YouTube app is unusable and just checking emails in the Gmail app is impossible as this crashes as well.
Build Number is 67.2.A.2.41 release keys

Hi All.
My Xperia 1 V after yesterdays Android 15 update. The short version.
Youtupe app is crashing now and then after being very slow.
Google Play Butik can't finish downloadig updates.
But...only on WIFI. Not when WIFI disabled. Running on 5G mobiledata, everthing seems normal.
I my opinion, WIFI is the problem here.
Sony or Google...Do something ASAP...Please.

@NPVA101 Tried to delete YouTube and reinstall it again? Or clear the cached storage for the app from the settings. For the Google Play, make sure you're not using VPN or something and you can restart your phone after.
Hi. Thanks for the response 👍
First of all.....Play Butik is up and running. No problems there anymore. For some reason it fixed itself. There had been no opfattes regarding this issue as far as I have observed???
YouTube....is also OK. But only after switching off preview of videos while browsing the app. Don't ask me why.
YouTube app can not be uninstalled on my phone. Only forced to stop or deactiveded. Cache is empty. I don't use VPN.

@IamNic I believe this issue is related to Android 15, contacting Android will be the right action.
Not sure whether this helps in any way, but JFYI my Xperia 10 V got the Android 15 update yesterday (Build 68.2.A.2.38A) and seems 100% stable so far - including YouTube.
Exactly the same issues since Android 15... YouTube is not useable and most apps and home screen need to swipe up from middle of screen. Done factory reset, same problem, also the white balance on camera is off and constantly needs adjusting...sony has just ruined this phone...not buying sont ever again..too many problems and they just dont care..shame i work in mobile sales will never recommend as i have been doing for years

I hope this is a joke. Sony is in charge of the updates they are pushing to their phones. Android is just the underlying OS.

@NPVA101 Did you try Reboot & Safe mode?
Hold the Power button until the “power down” options are shown.
Instead of tapping it, press and hold the [Power off] option
After a couple of seconds, a [Reboot in safe mode] prompt will appear that allows you to reboot.
When restarting, Safe mode will appear on-screen, indicating that it’s in safe mode.
Check if the issue persists in safe mode. If not, it might be interesting to delete some apps to see if performance improves.
Rebooting again will return the phone to normal mode.
