Problem with ITV Hub (ITV 1 channel) and 7 day TV scrollback

Can not scroll back 7 days anymore and ITV 1 Hub keeps asking for postcode even though it has been entered. Are they both connected ? Had a 24 hour power cut at the weekend, not sure if relevant. On scroll back says no information, will scroll back for the current day but not previous days. Says software is upto date - TV is latest Sony 49" . Was working fine on scroll back (never previously watched ITV Hub).

Still having this issue on a new Sony TV in 2020. Case of great picture and sound, very poor operating system!

Totally agree. My xf9005, 2020 model is a nightmare.

Bought Android TV with expectation that it would be less restrictive than other types.

Could not get terrestrial TV Apps without you-view can't download the Browser of my choice.

The operating system is poor but told might get Android 9. The list goes on.

The XF9005 is a 2018 model, and most Android models have browsers supported like Puffin for example. There's this collection on the Sony website.

Thanks for your reply but you seem to be missing my point.

I have always read android gives people more choice, not restricted to company supported Apps. 

So i spent a lot of money....by my standards anyway on buying a Sony Android TV.

First i cant get you-view where i am so i am barred by Sony from downloading the APK for terrestrial TV from the play store. I read they have a deal with You-view which i assume is something they get paid for.

Had to buy  Fire Stick 4k for the pleasure of watching TV which somewhat defeats the point.

Had the opposite with Samsung, they kept loading Apps on my set , they were paid to do this and would not allow me to remove them.

I like Chrome browser again denied ,this Puffin Browser i can't get to work properly keeps telling me it needs to update despite my best efforts it won't.

Found LG to be okay.

This Fix somehow doesn't seem to be working anymore for recent models. Ive just received my new Sony a few days ago, This is my second Sony Tv, a like for like Sony to the one I bought at December 2019. However, although the 'YVServiceHostAPK' is available on the first TV from 2019, on the recent Tv I've just had delivered, the system apps doesn't even show 'YVServiceHostAPK' when you scroll to the bottom of the list, it ends on WiFi Monitor Service

Is anyone else having this issue, or has does anyone have a work-around.

I have the same on my bravia xh90 I have not seen anyone offer a possible solution yet, still waiting.
