DCR-HC30E Driver for windows vista help!!!!

Dear all,

I have got DCR-HC30e camcorder and HP Desktop with Vista OS.

Vista does not recognise DCR-HC30e camcorder therefore I am unable to transfer my videos from camcorder to my pc. Can someone suggest me where I can download the driver, please.

I tried downloading from sony support page but usbdreven.exe does not run. Every time i run this program error message appears " USB Driver cannot be installed in the current version of windows."

I will be grateful if you can solve this problem for me.

Which version of Vista do you have installed?

Have you got Vista SP1 installed?

What software are you trying to use to import movies?

Are you using an iLink connection?
