I have a video on my Camcorder which I am trying to download on to my Dell Studio XPS Laptop.
Having established the link between the 2 I then get a message which says I HAVNT GOT THE REQUIRED MANAGEMENT INFORMATION so I cant proceed. Nobody has the solution at their fingertips.
Have you had this problem ?

Hi I believe you have a HDD or Flash memory model camcorder and it would appear Picture Motion Broswer(PMB) is having problems verifimg the data on the drive, the simplest way to resolve this would be to do a manual copy off the drive into you My Pictures directory, created a folder with name of the date you the video to be shown within PMB, then copy the directories from the Camcorders Drive via Windows Explorer to the new Directory, once this has completed , open PMB and go to Tool/Update Database, this will ook at any new files found in the MyPictures Directory. Once all files are displayed in PMB, i would advise you use the Camcorderformat function to create a new index and folder structure on its drive (Do Not use Windows to do this)
I hope this helps
