I have a Sony Handycam model DCR-HC53E which I am trying to import mini dv from tape via a firewire lead to my Sony Vaio VGN-NS30E.
I have imported the video once but can not open it with windows media player, and have tried importing into PMB but get an error message " Runtime Error! \Program: ....y\Sony Picture Utility\Accessor\Tape\SPUTapeImporter.exe
Not very technically minded, but hope someone can shed some light on this for me
