BDV-N590 SSL Alarm with iPlayer

All,

when i try and launch anything from iplayer on my BDV-n590 i get :

SSL Alarm Display

The security of the target peg cannot be confirmed. An error has occurred during server authentication

i am connected to my virgin media wireless..

anyone got any ideas.  It is the latest firmware and i have tried both network and system resets to no avail.  It is getting really quite frustrating

Hi there

Ive been doing a little bit of research on this one.  At present there is already a thread in regards to this problem:

A factory reset seems to have cured the problem with some people, but not all.

As an experiment, can you try the following:

1. Load up the Internet browser on the Bluray player
2. Press the [Options] button on the remote control and goto Browser Setup
3. In Browser Setup, there is an option for SSL Alarm Display.  Set this to disable.  (If its already disabled, enable it).
4. Go out out of the browser setup, and close the browser.
5. Test iPlayer.

If you go to reset and reset "All" this should cure it.
