BDV N7200W
My N7200W system has frozen. Is stuck on 'BD/DVD'. I've tried resetting it (play/eject at the same time), but it does nothing.
I'm assuming this happened in the last week or so (I don't use it very often) and may be related to the latest firmware which was released a couple of weeks ago.
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Is there anyway of flashing the software again, using a USB for instance?
Also, would we get charged for the repair? I ask this because this is quite clearly a software issue caused by the last update.

Hi Rose,
I disconnected the AC power cord according to the manual and connected again but it did not help. Is there any other way to reset? I mean I almost went throw the hole manual
Cheers

The factory reset options that are given in the manual are useless due to the latest firmware being corrupted.

If it is corrupted you don't have any other chance than to call a service. Only they can flash a firmware onto the machine
PS ... the latest firmware available was released one year ago not 2 weeks...

I agree with rooobb,I've been doning some research but the player doesn't have any form of hard reset (i.e. with buttons/hidden pins), so it seems the only reset is in fact done through the player's system as it says in the Manual.
