Connection Issues - only good advice sought!

Have been having issues trying to browse the internet on the stock browser, chrome, opera mini and opera mobile as well as that an intermittent "connection timed out" error, and issues when trying to use the fb and other apps. Sometimes my xperia will send and recieve no problem, then others it seem to send then stall on receiving, other times it just refuses to do anything unless I constantly click on the link I want or lock then unlock the screen. I'm running the latest ics update from sony and have been since january I only got the phone a month before. I've reset the phone three times, tried running it only on the stock browser but had the same issues so I know its not some conflicting browsers issue.

Does anyone have any ideas? Do you think this is a hardware fault? I'm with three and I really dont want to have to speak with those idiots unless i'm forced to as I really dont want to bee wasting my time with downloading internet settings and god knows what other usless advice they'll offer before they finally say "send the phone back to us" - so any experienced insight would be welcomed.

Thanks!

Ps I have an excellent HSPDA signal too.

Thanks for that turn out it was the app Clean Master - i should have clicked on earlier, the red herring was opera mini i had a similar issue on my old phone after an update to opera and i was focused on the browsers and i even thot overheat could have been an issue especially when tethering. But turns out it was the app i least suspected - it's a pity because it was a good app and i had no issues until recently, they did update it twice in the last two weeks tho, but when my first drop out was using opera and i thought 'oh not again' and was then rather confused after i removed opera and still had the problem - anyway thanks again!

anytime :smileyhappy:, remember you don't need that app "clean master = taskkilerr/task manager" it will stop apps but most likely apps running in the background will relaunch > thus draining even more battery than let them run in the background, and this type of apps, taskillers, make android unstable and create other issues.
