I can't delete facebook photos off xperia arc s

I've only had my ph for a couple of weeks and while on facebook I synced my facebook account with my ph to get everyones contact details , it sent a heap of photos to my gallery that i don't want and I can't figure out how to delete them as there is no delete option like there is on any photos I have taken myself with the ph. I've searched the whole instruction manual and didn't find anything to help me. Please help me.

go to settings > xperia > facebook inside Xperia > uncheck this

or

settings > accounts & sync > facebook > uncheck albums
