I'm writing about my X8 that I've upgraded from Android 1.6 (Donut) to Android 2.1 (Eclair) between yesterday and today. I regret that with the upgrade a lot of "alarm tones" are gone, including one in particular which is so cool, I can't remember the name but that begins with "multi" - it's a combination of more tones (drin, chicken, bell, etc.).
I did a regular backe up rand restore but I don't think those wake-up tones are normally backed up or considered in the backup process.
I'm asking you what I can do to have back what I had but seems to have been lost with the upgrade. Now the mobile phone's alarm ringtones available are very few and I think a upgrades should add, not remove.
Thank You guys!
Any help would be very appreciated.

Just sent you an email with tone attached as I can't attach it on here.

Hello,
Thank you for the email. Thankfully though, I have found all my old sound files in an SD-card backup I had some time before upgrading. For some reason they were kept on the SD card but not within the system partition. Anyhow, if you guys need to have *all* original sounds and ringtones, I can fix you a ZIP file with them. Just let me know.

Hi nixd,
I have same problem with lost sounds. But I loved mainly multialarm.Others I do not need, there is plenty of sounds out there.
please can you send me that one?
Thank you very much in advance!
you need to go here
and download the ringtones and alarms and transfer them to your SD card
hi suze can you email me the alarm tones that you sent scarlet and nixd? thank you
Which tones was it that you particularly wanted? I have the multi one on my laptop and have sent you that. If it was any of the others have a look on the link above, it takes a while to open the download section but you can get the complete file of ringtones from that source.
thank you! the multi alarm was what i wanted
Oh good, glad you now have the sound file that you need!
Hi suze, can you e-mail me with the multi alarm and the other tones included in the original sd card (if possible) please?
Thanks in advance.
