Music is transferred, just not showing up... How do you fix it?

I was syncing some music to my phone and I safely removed it and waiting for it to load the sd card on my phone but when I went into music and newly added, it wasn't there! and I check evereywhere in music and it wasn't there but vlc picked it up and so did astro. What can I do to fix the problem I am desperate! I don't want to delete all my music just to put it back on again just to get the songs I want.

with astro check which music files are those, is it MP3? MP4? etc

that's quite odd

try this

settings > apps > all > walkman > clear everything > restart your phone > check again
