My xperia s wont turn on

hello i was on my phone and there was 0% so it turned of and i plugged it into the charger ant now it wont turn on again the red LED light was glowing like it should but it stil wont turn on please help

do this

connect your phone to the wall charger > press and hold: power & volume up for 10 seconds > let your phone charge for 1hr > after 1hr try to turn it back on
