really hot..

Got a question.. Me and my friend bought the Acro S together and we noticed that whenever we are playing games or browsing the internet, the back of the phone gets really hot.. Now, since the Acro S is water proof and dust proof, I imagine that the phone is sealed right.. How will the heat from the inside go out?? and since its getting really hot on the back whenever we play or surf.. I think too much heat can really mess things inside especially if theres no "ventilation"?? ....  just curious because back is really hot whenever we do those stuff... Thanks in advanced...

and also a tip! if you are planning to use the phone on something like taking pictures in the rain, make sure the phone is cooled down first, because if you use the warm phone on the cold rain, moisture might develop inside. and it is considered as water damage if it gets to the indicators. :smileyhappy::smileywink:

the heat excapes thru conduction, thats why it gets hot.

the phone do warm up especially browsing or playing for extended periods of time, or from moderate to heavy use. I suggest you take a break once in a while and try to reboot the phone every other day to free up apps to decrease the load on the ram and battery usage

I see... so this heat will not affect chips inside the phone? or it may affect it?

as long as it doesn't do harm to you or you don't smell anything like burnt plastic, it is perfectly fine.

hmmmmmmmmmm.... SO that what could have caused the moisture inside the front and back camera... because we were using the phone before we tried the water proof test.... well that explains a lot... good thing moist disappeared after 3-4 days.... thanks!

It gets hot because of running 1.5GHz. With default ondemand governor, ur phone all the time goes 1512MHz, and seldom the minimum 342MHz.
What u can do is to underclock.

My bro's acro S underlcocked to 192MHz~972MHz, not that hot, not that fast.
