reboot loop

Hi everyone! My girlfriend updated her arc s to ICS.. and she didnt like it so she desided to downgrade it to GB (why the hell she have done that!!!).

after flashing it with flashtool she got the reboot loop. Now i have to fix this. Please help me.

You did some step wrong, obviously.

Download proper firmware:

(I would suggest 4.0.2.A.0.69, Generic Trade Germany) as it is the latest GB release.

And then do all the steps from the begining.

Have phone charged above 50%, load firmware in Flashtool (leave checkbox settings as they are) and flash firmware.

It's quite easy, and if done properly you should not have any bootloops at all.

Flashtool is among the easiest flashing tools in whole android world.

Thanx! one more question. Do SI numbers matter when choosing firmware ?

As far as I can tell you (and I flashed like 7-10 different firmwares on my Arc S, with different SI marks), they don't.

They are just region codes, used by official software to decide should your phone get an update or not, when update is out.

With Flashtool, it doesn't matter.
