Screen Problem (Xperia S)

Hey, I bought an Xperia S a week ago and I noticed something. When the phone is on the main screen, i tilt the phone but nothing happens it stays vertical, this happens on the notes too. I tried to do the same thing when the phone was charging, the same problem didn't happen, the screen turned. Is this normal?

go to settings > display > auto-rotate screen must be selected

there's an update on a Sony app that cause this issue too

settings > apps > all > smartconnect > uninstall updates

restart your phone

It doesn't rotate only on the main screen and notes screen, it rotates otherwise

the homescreen will only rotate if its connected to a wall charger or computer

there are some apps that do NOT rotate at all

the homescreen wont rotate

unless

1) you install another home launcher from the play store

or

2) mod the current home launcher so it will rotate all the time.

as for the app, it's up to the app developer to add that feature
