SIM card size

I just bought an Xperia V and can´t even start it because the SIM card is too big. What to do? I thought there was a standard size for SIM cards.

Just order a Micro-Sim from your Carrier.

it is NOT recommended that you trim/cut your SIM card, just get a brand NEW MICRO SIM card

your phone only support micro SIM ,so you should cut it .

@qcpxf that's not a good idea, it might be too small or too big or he might cut on the wrong area and it might not have proper contact

what I mean is that you need to buy a SIM-cut tools,it cut the SIM in an appropriate size.I provide the picture of the tools :

I don't see the  point on buying that if you can get a free micro SIM card from your carrier, unless they charge you a fee, but here in the USA are free
