Hi--

When i'm trying to update Xperia neo v firmware there is a message from step two that informs me Sony update engine could not be installed (error 0x0803d0020), what can I do?

I tried it on another system and was able to get the update done successfully.

Hi there.

Some computers may block the installation of the update service, Please use this:

http://www.sonymobile.com/us/tools/update-service/ this is the Standalone update software.

It should work better with your computer configuration.

Hi --

Will Using Update Service erase the phone data like (contacts, messages, settings etc.,)? because doing an update through the pc companion does not erase any contents.
