XPERIA ACRO S WATER DAMAGE?!

Used my acro S in the swimming pool for picture taking, however for some reason water got in and phone died. I was able to dry the phone by leaving it buried (uncooked rice) for a few days. now, the phone is turning on, i can play music with it and take pictures with it like nothing happened, however there is a part in the left side of the screen that is non-responsive. Is there a way to fix this myself or I do need to bring it in a sony repair center?? can this be fixed?

My phone wont turn on after soaking in water, its already been 24 hrs and my phone wont turn on.... Please help me
