Xperia P not powering up after upgrading to ICS

Hi,

I got Zperia P  phone a week back. I upgraded my Xperia P  to ICS yesterday night. Soon after upgrading battery drained out and i tried to charge it. Now only red light is blinking and the phone is not powering up. Also i connected to PC companion, the PC hardly detects it for 2 mins giving green light and then it turns to red light.. This is really sad Any help is greatly appreciated.
