Xperia T Not Scratch Proof

I have had the xperia T just over a mouth now and I have never dropped it and I have not put anything sharp near the phone but I have noticed that I got 3 scratch and one is really big( half the size of the screen). I was think can I return the phone and get a new one under the warranty because the xperia T is advertised to be scratch proof ??

Can anybody help me with this Slightly_smiling_Face

You can always contact Sony directly; http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/support/contact-us/

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/support/contact-us/ however the Sony Xperia T is not advertised as Scratch Proof it is Scratch Reisitant...

Comparison chart

Definition:

Scratch Proof

Capable of withstanding more scratches

Scratch Resistant

Resistant to scratches

Duration:Very durableAvoids only minor scratches
Materials Used:Mineral glass or sapphire glassScratch resistant chemical coating
Common Products:Glasses, lens, jewelleryLens, watch, photographic film

As you can see above scratch resistant only avoids minor scratches.

P.s Due to the fact you said you have not put anything sharp near the phone you may have a strong enough case. Good Luck

according to Johan (Sony Moderator) the Xperia T/TL/TX have Gorilla glass so most likely what got scratched was the shatter proof film that it's pre-applied

is Sony spying on users in this forum?

I had my Xperia T for two weeks and to my dismay noticed a half inch minor scratch on the screen. To be honest you could only see if when the screen was off and light was reflecting off it at certain angles but it was still annoying as I had been SO careful to keep anything that might scratch it well away. I have no recollection of anything scraping against the screen so I'm thinking the 'scratch resistant' qualities of the display are not great.

As above, please be aware that the damage is likely on the shatter proof sheet and not the screen itself.

@Sam anywhere were users can check that the digitizer its in fact Gorilla Glass? is the gorilla glass available on the Xperia T, TX and TL or just on the T?

also does the Xperia T/TX/TL has on screen technology like the Xperia V?
