Zylo Slider Problem

Sony Ericsson Zylo has a slider problem.   Is this problem still unrectified by Sony. Please Sony correct it. Zylo is a good phone except for the fact that its slider has a problem.

I read somewhere Sony has now rectified it and new phones are having no Problem. Is it correct...? Hope so.!!

i think that this is mechanical damage. but it couldn't be caused by dropping phone, but bad quality, because any fall can't broke flex cable because it is set into steel case. i allready changed one flex cable, and fixed screen problem. now i got same problem: when you slide phone loses picture on screen and phone is still on. when i dissasambled phone i found damaged flex cable again. i ordered it at ebay and i'll give feedback if change of flat cable fix problem. i think it will.

here is me again i replaced flat cable and now evrything is ok! FLAT CABLE was the cause of all problems. problem solved. price: 3 dollars ebay

Sorry to bust your bubble guys, but the cable problem is perennial. Av had mine fixed 4 times now, and am almost having the same problem  now seeing as it has started the multi colouring bit before it eventually goes blank. I think al just have to sell it to someone else coz it is getting too expensive fixing it time and again, though i really love this phone
