Please help me with DLNA / Mediatomb / .m3u files
I have a KDL22EX553 internet TV and a server running Mediatomb on my network. Mediatomb shows up under Inputs on my TV menu and I can access folders in the Mediatomb database but I cannot see the folder contents. (.m3u files)
I can access these folders on a Windows pc and see and stream the .m3u files in Windows Media Player, so I know Mediatomb is working on the network.
Can anyone please suggest why my TV can't see the .m3u files?

Hi there
Firstly, you TV supports the following file formats:
- DLNA Content - MPEG1 / MPEG2PS / MPEG2TS / AVCHD / MP4Part10 / MP4Part2 / WMV / MP3 / WMA / LPCM / JPEG
- So, if im reading this right, you orignally had a MPEG2 TS file, and have added them to a m3u playlist?
- The TV does not support .m3u playlists. The TV doesnt support playlists at all, therefore you cannot enable mediatomb to transcode it to a playable format.
- Therefore you will need to play the individual files.
- Cheers
