driver for sd card slot

hi, my slot is not able to read sd cards of 4 gb. the drivers are already 2 years old, nevertheless the vajo tx2xp/b is a new one and we all have only 4 gb sd cards. so, how can i get the slot to run these cars. does anybody has new drivers and how have i to install them? thanks, lkpp

Welcome to the forum,
get one of these here incase your friends have different disks. Ummm the 'Lo is right the vaio slot is exclusively for standard Sony Memory Sticks (not the Duo)

Unfortunately, quite a few SD cards and SD card slots seem to be incompatible - this is not just a TX problem, it seems to happen with many notebooks.

The only thing to try is to borrow a USB card reader and reformat the card using the TX via USB. Then see if your card is recognised by the TX's SD slot.
