Lack of sound on burned DVDs from Premiere Elements

Hi all

Random query - I have recently bought a FE41Z which came bundled with Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0. I loaded up some video footage and edited it in Elements but, when I burned it to DVD, the menu, video and pictures all work fine but there is no sound. This is doubly confusing because when I previewed the DVD in Elements it had sound as normal.

Has anyone come across this problem? Otherwise my optical drive seems to be working fine but I didn't know if there was a specific patch for this. I think I've downloaded all the available updates from the sony-vaio website.

It's more of a decoding problem than your drive. What type of files are you burning to DVD?
