Hello
I am trying to upgrade a Sony Vaio PGB 392 M with Windows 7 Home edition to Windows 10
I made a USB drive with the Media Creation Tool; started the setup.exe; everything runs fine, but suddenly I get the message that this computer is not supported in this version of windows 10
What can I do?
Excuse me for the mistake: Laptop is PCG 392 M
Hello,
is there nobody who can advise me?
Thanks for your input
Roger
Hi ROGER_1
You may have a better chance of a reply if you use a valid Vaio Model code. You are (I think) using PCG392M which is a generic chassis model type shared by the whole series of VGN-FZ21* Vaios. Look for the actual model type of your Vaio - it is usually on the screen surround, in the BIOS or in Vaio Control Centre. It is likely to be VGN-FZ21 followed by E, M, S, or Z.
When you have the correct model, post it here and a user may have tried an upgrade. You can also look on the Sony Support Website to see if there is anything about Windows 10. Here is the support page for the VGN-FZ21M:

Do you get this message before or after entering a Windows 10 Activation Key?
