Hi Everyone,

Today I tried to upgrade my Live with Walkman phone to the new version of Android. Everything goes well until it gets to the screen that says 'Follow These Steps To Prepare Your Phone For The Update:'

I follow the steps, turning off the phone, unplugging the USB, waiting 5secs then holding down the volume down button and plugging the USB back in but NOTHING happens. The PC bleeps to signify that the phone has been plugged in but nothing shows on the update screen and nothing happens.

Some sites suggested resetting the pc, disabling the anit-virus and the firewall and trying again. I did this. Again, NOTHING.

Any help would be much appreciated, I really want the new Android and I cant find anyone else that has had this issue.

turn off your firewall and antivirus then run PCC or SUS

Has anyone tried the new CM9 RC1 for various handsets. This is a new development and is there for some 30 plus devices. It works for wt19i also.http://www.androidust.com/install-cyanogenmod-9-0-rc1-on-se-live-with-walkman-wt19i/

In my situation: I updated my phone via SUS but nothing happened with my phone. But everything went well, I donno whats this problem.. STILL GB 2.3.4

IM HAPPY!

UPDATE SUCCESSFUL TODAY via pc companion.. everything was okay, only I had to reinstall the pc companion program on my pc, then OK.

I found my SI on the list. it is 1257-0960. ICS realesed yesterday but I'm not able to update. pc companion shows " Your Phone is up to date". actually i dont know how to update. i've also downloaded "http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe". this update service says " An unexpected error has occured. The application will shutdown".

Please help me
