Pink background in Sony Contacts App

Just noticed the default xperia contacts app has a pink background. Don't suppose anyone knows if there's a way to change this is there?

Wish Google released a contacts app as I use their Gmail and calendar apps (although I do
prefer Sony's phone and messaging apps to be fair).

Hi WillHarris23067,

I believe this is related to the current theme selected on the device. I went through on mine and found that the default theme has a pink contacts theme. 

I changed the theme and then the Contacts background theme changed along with it.

Apps > Settings > Theme

Hi, i'am having the same problem, i changed the theme many times but the contacts always stay pink. Any ideas?

Yeah, tried all that, contacts still stays pink. I've had to download a third party contacts app and use that instead.

I have tried too. It dose not work !  

Also, could not install the  App "Contacts" from Google Inc. on  Sony Xperia   F8331.

Message: "No Eligible device for app install"

Why is not compatible with  Sony Xperia XZ running Android 7?

I changed the theme to black one also did a restart but still the phone app background is pink! Please provide a solution.

Seems that's how Sony made it. Theme accent no longer applies in Contacts/Phone apps. I guess this is not a bug.
