Xperia z3 tablet compact goes from 48% of battery 0% and shutsdown

Hello since a week the battery of my device suddenly goes from 48% to 0% and is then switched off. But when I charge the device it gives 1% and when I turn the device on again, the power of my battery is more than 50%. How is this possible?

Since this device its older than 2 years, you probably need to replace the battery, you could repair it with Xperia Companion but it might be battery related rather than software.
