I did a FACTORY RESET on my Xperia Z5 Premium Dual device, about a month ago. Ever since the reset, the Speaker-Phone has stopped working. It does NOT work during Calls, it does Not work in WhatsApp calls, it does Not work in Facebook or Duo calls either - Basically, the Speaker-Phone has gone dead - this is really, really Inconvenient! It seems it's a KNOWN ISSUE but Sony has not released a Fix - it's definitely a Software Problem!
Can someone help how to fix this??
how is that a "known issue"? please do provide any source link
as for the issue, settings > about phone > diagnostics > test > test everything and report back
or
Contact your Local support to get it inspected.
Did some web searches, other people have also run into similar issues. A coupld of people I know who own Z2 and Z3 have also run into similar issues, so yes, it's a known Issue! Whether Sony has done something about it, I seriously doubt. As I said, it's not a hardware problem. Media works fine with loud speaker, its only the Speaker Phone mode that does not work and it's a PAIN!
Sony's local service is most pathetic, they keep the device for a month and then give it back in worse state than it was, without actually solving any problem.
Facts. Sony local support is the worst ever. I may have to start buying another type of phone. I have Sony phones for years but with no local place to go to. I just can't. This is most likily the last sony I buy.
Same problem also after upgrade!
Sony Xperia Z5!
Software problem for sure!
The best thing for Sony is to fix it soon otherwise they destroy the brand name!
Except if they want everybody to buy Xiaomi....
And yes it's an know issue!!! If u Google it several people reported the same problem so don't close your eyes it's better to find and give us the solution! !!
Same problem here had the problem since July. So annoying!
Loudspeaker doesn't work for normal phone calls WhatsApp calls or Messenger but works fine for playing media videos etc.
Tried software repair using the pc software it has to be a software issue surely as the speaker works for other things.
Has anyone got to the bottom of this?
SONY IF YOUR READING THIS SORT IT OUT!!
