Z3 compact back and home button not working after recent update

My back and home button not working now after. 5. 1.1 update.

Most xperia z3 compact experience.
There is nothing we can do but wait for new updates.

Same problem here! Tried glove mode and it works a bit now but screen is oversensitive. This is only a temp fix, as it seems to be a common problem and an old one at that why isn't there a more permanent fix!

There are more topics with this problem, with a lot of discussions and temporary solutions, but problem is there.
Let's hope Sony will fix it by update

This is a nightmare, my phone is practically useless! I hope the fix this soon otherwise i'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I take it no solutions yet?

The app back button is a poor mans fix, it works, but it is not the same phone.

My great wee reliable phone is ruined!!!!!!!

I have the same problem after upgrade. Drop down stopped, then a few days later, home and back buttons stopped working.

Having the same issue after upating to 6.0.1 last weekend, back, home and tab buttons not working, sometimes they do intermitently but not for long. Appears to pass screen test, have found 'back button app' from the play store a work around but not ideal.
