External microphone problem

Hi all, I've just replaced my older Xperia XA2 with Xperia 5 and got into problems when I tried to use an external microphone. I have pretty decent one from RØDE - smartLav+, which has standard jack that can be used on cell phones with jack. Now because Xperia 5 comes just with an USB-C port, I tried to use the usbc-audio adapter that comes with the package but the input from microphone is fully silent.

Anyone else hit the same issue? Any simple solution except using usb-c microphone?

Problem most likely caused by the App not being able to use the USB-C <-> TRRS mic. I've bought other mic anyway (COMICA) and it works fine with Easy Voice Recorder Pro.
